Visiting director will discuss play with audience

CARBONDALE, Ill. -- The guest director of the upcoming theater production "In the Blood" will hold a pre-curtain discussion at 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 21 -- the play's opening night -- at McLeod Theater, in the Communications Building at Southern Illinois University Carbondale.

Shirley Jo Finney, visiting director, will discuss the play and its themes with the audience.

Performances of "In the Blood" are set for 7:30 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, April 21-24 with a 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday, April 25.

Tickets are now available at the McLeod Theater Box Office in the Communications Building on the SIUC campus. Reservations, which are advisable, are also available by phone at 618/453-3001.

The SIUC Student Fine Arts Activity Fee is paying for Finney's guest residency.
