Community service-minded students from Southern Illinois University Carbondale will pick up litter on campus and at many Carbondale locations on Saturday, March 20. Volunteers will meet at 10 a.m. in the Video Lounge on the fourth floor of the Student Center before fanning out across campus and the community. They will return to the Student Center at 12:20 p.m. for pizza and beverages. The Beautify Southern Illinois Student Alliance, a new registered student organization at SIUC, is sponsoring the "Spring Clean."
