Association hosting reception in Normal
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Alumni and friends of Southern Illinois University Carbondale will gather for a pre-game reception on Wednesday, Jan. 21, prior to the SIUC-Illinois State basketball game in Normal.
Reception festivities will begin at 5:30 p.m. at Horton Field House, on the concourse area between Horton and Hancock streets. Parking is available at Ropp Stadium, for a fee. The menu includes Jimmy John's subs, chips and soda.
Tip off is at 7:05 p.m. in Redbird Arena. The cost to attend the reception and game is $8 for association members and $18 for non-members and guests. Reservation deadline is Jan. 15.
