McLeod Summer Playhouse presents “Gypsy” during 60th anniversary 

McLeod Summer Playhouse opens its final professional production of 2019 this weekend with a very special 60th anniversary production of Gypsy: A Musical Fable, the play widely acclaimed as “America’s Greatest Book Musical.”


Agriculture market analysts are coming back to campus for a live recording of the “U.S. Farm Report” 

For the second year in a row, Tyne Morgan and a group of agriculture analysts are coming back to campus for a live taping of the “U.S. Farm Report” on Tuesday.


SurveyMonkey licenses are now available on campus 

The Office of the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs has secured an enterprise-wide license on campus for SurveyMonkey, one of the most requested professional survey development software products available.


‘Illinois Ethics Matters’ newsletter available 

The monthly Illinois Ethics Matters newsletter for July is available. The Office of Executive Inspector General publishes the newsletter to allow state employees to stay informed of current issues relating to ethics. The SIU System Ethics Office website is at siusystem.edu/ethics. The website contains information regarding how to file a complaint, relevant contact information, and many other resources.


New Arts Jazztet will perform Sunday 

New Arts Jazztet, a Southern Illinois jazz group comprised of SIU faculty, will perform at Jazz Vespers, a one-hour evening prayer service, at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 1501 W. Chautauqua St., Carbondale, at 5 p.m. on Sunday.
