Register now for 2018 Rocky Ledges 5K Trail Run

Due to the threat of inclement weather, the Rocky Ledges 5K Trail Run has been postponed until Saturday, May 5.
CARBONDALE, Ill. — Registration is now underway for the sixth annual Rocky Ledges 5K Trail Run, a unique run that takes places at Southern Illinois University Carbondale’s Touch of Nature Environmental Center.
The run is set for 9 a.m. on April 14 at Camp 2. Check-in and late registration begins at 8 a.m.
Everyone is welcome.
The course and rewards
While the race begins and ends at Camp II, the course’s more than 3.2 miles cover a wide variety of terrains. Much of the run features views of Little Grassy Lake.
All race participants receive a T-shirt. There are also prizes for the top three male and female runners in each age group, as well as the overall winner. The awards presentation takes place at 11 a.m.

Sign up in advance and the cost is $25. Register the day of the event for $30. Light refreshments will be provided.
