Media Advisory - SIU Day of Giving
The SIU community will come together on Wednesday, March 7, for the second annual SIU Day of Giving.
Reporters, photographers and news crews are invited to cover the event, including remarks by Chancellor Carlo Montemagno at 2 p.m. at Morris Library.
The SIU Day of Giving is a 24-hour fundraising campaign that allows supporters of the university to donate online at siuday.siu.edu to the area of campus of their choice. Last year, more than $340,000 was raised through more than 1,300 individual donations.
