‘Sibs and Kids Day’ set for Feb. 24

Faculty, staff and students may invite any child, sibling, niece, cousin and friend to campus later this month to experience the excitement of life as a Saluki.

Sibs and Kids Day is Feb. 24, with check-in from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Student Center main entrance. Events include craft shop, bowling, inflatables and numerous other activities in the Student Center, along with celebrating Dr. Seuss’s birthday during story time at University Bookstore. The Disney movie “Coco” will show at 6 p.m. in the Student Center Auditorium.

There is no cost or registration required, but children must be checked in at the Student Center that day to sign waivers and receive wristbands. The activities are geared toward children 5 to 12 years old but all family members are welcome to attend.

Children at least eight years old may stay with their sibling if they live in an on-campus resident hall or apartment, with prior approval. Details are available online.
