Media Advisory - 100th patent
Reporters, photographers and news crews are welcome to cover an event this week marking the issuance of Southern Illinois University Carbondale’s 100th patent.
The event is set for 4:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30, at the Dunn-Richmond Economic Development Center, 1740 Innovation Drive, Carbondale.
SIU Chancellor Carlo Montemagno will give opening remarks, followed by a presentation of patent certificates and an induction ceremony for the National Academy of Inventors.
