Immigration/employment seminar is Oct. 25

Attorney Thomas J. Arkell will provide essential immigration information and employment options for faculty, staff and students during a seminar at 9:30 a.m., Oct. 25, in the SIU School of Law’s Hiram H. Lesar Building courtroom.

Seminar topics will include applications for permanent residence (Green Cards), National Interest Waiver (NIW) petitions, Extraordinary Ability (EB-1A) petitions, transitioning from F-1 OPT or J-1 to H-1B and issues related to the “H-1B Cap,” and recent changes in immigration, executive orders and other related issues.
