Finance and administration units now report to Marshall
Judy Marshall, executive director for finance, has assumed responsibility for the areas that previously reported to the vice chancellor for finance and administration. Her new responsibilities were added following the April 30 retirement of Vice Chancellor Kevin Bame.
Interim Chancellor Brad Colwell said Marshall is overseeing the Center for Environmental Health and Safety, Human Resources, Labor and Employee Relations, Plant and Service Operations and the Department of Public Safety. She continues to serve as executive director for finance and oversee the budget office, Property Control, Accounting Services and Procurement Services.
“I am deeply grateful to Judy for her willingness to assume these additional duties while we take the time to assess all of our administrative structures,” he said. “She brings to her role deep institutional knowledge, a commitment to the university and exceptional leadership skills.”
Marshall holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from SIU and has previously served as an accountant and director of accounting services before her appointment as executive director for finance in 2010.
