Public forums for associate chancellor-CDO are next week

Three candidates for the position of Associate Chancellor and Chief Diversity Officer of SIU Carbondale are participating in interviews on campus. Each candidate will participate in a public forum and additional meetings. Candidates and the interview dates are: 

• Chassity Holliman-Douglas, director of the Center for Graduate and Professional Diversity Initiatives, University of Kentucky: Public forum, Monday, May 8, 9-9:45 a.m., Student Center Auditorium. 

• Malika Carter, chief diversity officer, City of Worcester, Mass.: Public forum, Tuesday, May 9, 9-9:45 a.m., Student Center Auditorium. 

• Sherwood Thompson, professor, College of Education, Eastern Kentucky University: Public forum, Thursday, May 11, 9-9:45 a.m., Student Center Auditorium.
