CAStLE presentations planned for April

Three Conversation About Student Learning and Engagement (CAStLE) events are planned for this month.

Christie McIntyre, chair, in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction, will present “Higher Learning Commission – Criterion 4 Update.” The presentation is from noon to 1 p.m., Thursday, April 6, in Morris Library, Room 480A.

CAStLE is a professional learning community for curricula and co-curricular faculty and staff to meet to share ideas, successes, and struggles related to student learning and engagement and assessment.

Other presentations planned for April are:

  • April 12, room 752/754 – “A Tale of Two Surveys: Best Practices in Survey Methodology and Research,” Emily Neuhoff, graduate student and Allysha Kochenour, intern, Workforce Innovation and Research.
  • April 19, room 752/754 – “Stopping the Bleed: Retaining and Preparing First Year Students for College Transition and Academic Success,” Casheena Stephens, instructor, UCOL 101.
