Saluki baseball fish fry and auction is Friday
The Saluki baseball team will host the 21st annual “Fish Fry & Memorabilia Auction,” Friday, March 24, at the Carbondale Civic Center.
The event begins at 5 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for youths. The dinner includes all-you-can-eat fish, potato salad, coleslaw, bread, soft drinks and homemade desert.
The silent auction features items including a Walt Frazier-signed basketball, and autographed items by Ernie Banks, Nolan Ryan, Pete Rose and Adam Wainwright. Among the numerous items are autographed pro baseball jerseys and golf packages.
