CAStLE presentation is Thursday
The first Conversation About Student Learning and Engagement (CAStLE) event for the spring 2017 semester is Thursday, March 9, in Morris Library.
Elaine Jurkowski, professor, in the School of Social Work, will present “Data Collection Strategies for Assessment: Moving through the ‘Assessment Loop’.” The presentation is from noon to 1 p.m. in Morris Library, rooms 752 and 754.
An integral part of the assessment process is collecting and interpreting data to guide the assessment feedback loop. This presentation will present through a hands-on interactive process several strategies to include non-bias focus groups, reflection papers, the one-minute paper, surveys and group feedback.
CAStLE is a professional learning community for curricula and co-curricular faculty and staff to meet to share ideas, successes, and struggles related to student learning and engagement and assessment.
