Big weekend ahead for Saluki women’s hoops
The women’s basketball team hosts the two top teams in the Missouri Valley Conference in a pivotal weekend series at the SIU Arena.
On Friday, Feb. 3, the Salukis host conference-leading Drake at 6 p.m. The game is National Girls and Women in Sports Day, and youth 18 and under can take advantage of a $2 ticket by wearing their local sports jersey. It is also the “Maroon-Out” game and fans are encouraged to wear maroon. The Saluki Twirlers will also perform at halftime.
On Sunday, Feb. 5, the Salukis host second-place Northern Iowa at 2 p.m. in the “White-Out” game. There will be 150 “White-Out” shirts available to fans for free. Rollabanas will also be available.
