Busy hoops weekend ahead
The men’s and women’s Saluki basketball teams host three games at the SIU Arena starting Friday, Dec. 9.
The women’s team opens play at noon, Friday, against Southeast Missouri State in the annual field trip game where local schools are encouraged to bring students to experience college basketball. Faculty and staff are encouraged to attend and bring their lunches for a midday break.
On Saturday, Dec. 10, the men’s team hosts Sam Houston State at 1 p.m. The women’s team wraps up the weekend at 2 p.m. Sunday against Memphis in the faculty and staff appreciation game. Use the promo code, APP-Day-WBB at SIUSalukis.com to receive half-priced tickets.
