Office of Diversity and Equity sponsors training sessions

The Office of Diversity and Equity will be sponsoring three open-campus training sessions next week. All sessions are in Morris Library combination rooms 752 and 754. 

Dates and topics are: 

• Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2-3 p.m. -- Disability/Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) training. The focus is on the rights and responsibilities of the campus community in regards to the ADA. 
• Wednesday, Oct. 19, 11 a.m.-noon -- Advanced sexual harassment policy training. The training will concentrate on definitions of sexual harassment along with details of campus policies and procedures.
• Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2-3 p.m. -- Non-discrimination policy training. The training will focus on legalities of discrimination, including the definitions of discrimination, protected status, and the elements required to support discrimination claims.
