SalukiNet is receiving a sleek, new look
The Office of Information Technology is upgrading the look, mobility and accessibility of SalukiNet in an easy-to-use portal that will be available on Oct. 1. The robust improvement will be useful on all devices -- including smartphones, tablets, laptops and desktops.
The sleek, icon-driven tool will allow students, faculty and staff the ability to quickly find and access the resources they need and use most often. One tap of the user-friendly icons will take users directly to specific information, allow them to find and review records, or land at a point to start a task. It will be easier to find out how to register for classes, determine financial aid status, or pay a bursar bill.
In addition, some components of campus life and student activity information now accessed through the university’s “Mobile Dawg” app will roll into the new portal. Much like Google, the new SalukiNet system will be searchable.
Users will have continued access to SalukiNet through the original website as transition to the new portal continues; the upgrade will not change or eliminate any of the sites’ original look, tools, or functionality. The updated interface will provide a new approach to organizing campus services and simplify access to information including grades, class schedules, email, and more.
