Writing Center to open for summer hours on Monday
The Writing Center in Morris Library will open for summer hours beginning Monday, June 27.
The center provides free writing assistance that helps all faculty, staff, and students, including undergraduate and graduate students from any department, develop their writing skills and become more aware and confident writers.
To schedule an appointment, go to http://write.siu.edu/ and click on “Schedule an Appointment,” or visit Morris Library, Room 236. The center will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, and online tutoring will be available in the evenings. A complete schedule will be finalized next week and posted on the website.
Prior to Monday, email questions to Marshall Johnson at Marshall@siu.edu. Allow 24 hours for a response, and include specific questions or areas you need assistance with in the email.
