School of Music students to perform at library
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- School of Music students at Southern Illinois University Carbondale will be the featured performers at the Thursday, April 7, Music at Morris event.
The concert begins at noon in Morris Library’s first floor rotunda. It is free and open to the public.
The program for the April concert includes Kira Browning, a senior on viola, performing Bach’s Cello Suite No. 3 in C Major. Also performing will be Byron Farrar on cello and Jenny Choo at the piano, playing Rachmaninoff’s Cello Sonata. Both are slated to complete their master’s degrees in music this year.
