Classroom equipment training sessions set
Faculty, staff and teaching assistants who will be teaching in the university’s open-access technology enhanced classrooms are encouraged to attend classroom training equipment sessions this month.
The Center for Teaching Excellence is hosting the various training sessions, which run Jan. 14-20. Training sessions are available for three types of rooms: auditoriums, smart rooms, and learning technology classrooms. Those attending will learn to power up the system, connect a laptop, use podium components, troubleshoot common issues and shut down the system.
Pre-registration is not required. The training schedule is available here.
Those individuals who will be teaching in an auditorium or smart room should check out a podium key in advance. Check out the training schedule to see if your room requires a podium key. Podium key checkout is available at the Center for Teaching Excellence in Morris Library, Room 180, or by calling 453-2258.
