University Press Homecoming book sale set
The annual Southern Illinois University Press Homecoming Sidewalk Book Sale will feature a large selection of books, including a wide variety of recently published, brand-new books available at significantly reduced prices.
The sale is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday and Friday, Oct. 22-23, at SIU Press, 1915 University Press Drive, behind the annex on McLafferty Drive. There will be a large selection of paperback books for $3 and hardback books for $5. The book sale will include new and discounted books on President Abraham Lincoln, the Civil War, regional history, theater and film, rhetoric and poetry, American philosopher and educator John Dewey, and more. SIU Press asks that all book purchases be for personal use or gifts and not for resale.
