SIRIS vintage record sale is Sept. 12-13
The eighth annual SIRIS Classic Vinyl & Media Sale will be at University Mall in Carbondale next month.
The two-day event is from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Sept. 12, and from noon to 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 13. Sponsored by WSIU Public Radio and the Southern Illinois Radio Information Service (SIRIS), the annual event offers gently used stereo equipment, vintage vinyl records, CDs, DVDs, cassettes, electronic games, audio books and more at bargain prices.
Donated items, including working stereo and other music equipment, electronic games, and music donations of rock, jazz, blues, R&B, and country, will be accepted through Tuesday, Sept. 8, at the following locations:
- University Mall guest services, after 1 p.m., 1237 E. Main, Carbondale.
- SIU Credit Union, all Southern Illinois branches.
- Wright Do-It Center, 208 S. Williams, Murphysboro.
- Du Quoin Public Library, 28 S. Washington, Du Quoin.
