Performance auditions start next week
The School of Music has a wide variety of performance opportunities open to university faculty, staff and students.
Auditions for large ensembles include the Southern Illinois Symphony Orchestra and the SIU Wind Ensemble and SIU Choral Union. Audition information is available here.
There are also numerous opportunities for students, including non-music majors, to participate in large concert bands, jazz ensembles, choral groups, orchestras, opera, musical theater and the Marching Salukis. For more information, contact Jennifer Presar at music@siu.edu.
