Women’s Leadership Conference seeks proposals
Faculty, staff and graduate students are invited to submit conference proposals for the second Women’s Leadership Conference, Sept. 18, in the Student Center.
The conference, “Stronger Together,” is open to undergraduate students and high school seniors with a focus on developing future women leaders. The conference is an opportunity for students to visit the university and gain insight into programming. The focus includes students who are in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields, and those in business and agriculture. All students are welcome to attend.
There will be a select number of sessions dedicated to high school students only. Proposals should be typed and submitted to Tarnisha Green, director of Success in Engineering through Excellence and Diversity, by Sept. 4. Presenters will be notified of their selection by Sept. 11.
More information on the conference and proposal guidelines are available here.
