Center for Teaching Excellence offers online training sessions.
Training sessions on using the “Intelligent Agent” tool, managing grades, giving customized feedback and doing more with discussions will be hosted by the Center for Teaching Excellence in early November. Session topics and dates for the online sessions, which are described on the center’s website are:
- Using the Intelligent Agents tool in SIU online to automate communication with students 10 a.m. to noon Nov. 5, in the CTE Conference Room, Morris Library 184A.
- Managing grades online 10 a.m. to noon Nov. 7, Morris Library 139
- Releasing your students from solitary confinement: enhancing instructor presence with customized feedback, 2 to 4 p.m. Nov. 12, Morris Library 139
- Using the online discussion tool in SIU Online, 10 a.m. to noon Nov. 14, Morris Library 139
All workshops are for instructors, teaching assistance and staff only, and pre-registration is required is required. For information contact teach@siu.edu.
