34th annual Holiday Craft Sale is next week
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- With the holiday season fast approaching, everyone is looking for the perfect gift for the special people in their lives.
The 34th annual Student Center Holiday Craft Sale at Southern Illinois University Carbondale is just the place to find the right thing for everyone on your shopping list. The sale takes place Nov. 29-Dec. 1 at the Student Center. It’s so big that you will find booths in the Art Gallery on the first floor, and also in the International Lounge on the second floor.
The sale hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 29 and 30, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Dec. 1. Students, staff, and community members are welcome to attend this popular Craft Shop event.
More than 90 vendors from throughout the region will showcase a wide variety of arts and crafts, bringing joy to the holiday season with unique gifts and holiday decorations. The sale will feature hand-painted Christmas ornaments, handmade knitted items, oil paintings, glass art, pottery and much more.
