Ten Questions With ... Kim Sanders

How long at SIU Carbondale: 10 years

Hometown:  Benton

When you were a youngster, what did you want to be when you grew up?  A math teacher.

If you could choose another profession, what would it be and why?  FBI profiler.  I am fascinated by the evolution of errant behavior and am a huge fan of movies, TV series and books that portray this phenomenon.

What is one random fact about you?  I am an only child.

What three things are at the top of your bucket list?  I don’t really have a bucket list -- life is great and I’m good to go!

What is your favorite way to spend a day?  Reading in the sun.

If you could take a photograph of your life, what would the picture be?  Family and friends eating and drinking.

What is the best advice you ever received?  Think for yourself and don’t depend on others.

Favorite TV show (still running or ended)?  Person of Interest

What is your pet peeve?  Beating around the bush…I like the direct approach.

What would you like your gravestone to say about you?  She didn’t waste much time.
