Getaway to Six Flags planned for April 16
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- You can welcome spring with a one-price, one-day getaway thanks to the Student Programming Council at Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
SPC Special Events is sponsoring a trip to Six Flags on Saturday, April 16. The bus will leave the Student Center about 7 a.m. and return about 9:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend but those under age 18 must attend with an adult.
Tickets are $49 each and that price includes transportation to and from the amusement park from SIUC, admission parking, and food for the day. That’s a bargain since the regular price for general admission is $45 while parking is $15.
Tickets are sold on a first come basis though as seating is limited. You can purchase tickets at the business office on the second floor of the student center.
