Spring semester job fair set for Feb. 24
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- An all-majors job fair at Southern Illinois University Carbondale on Wednesday, Feb. 24, will give students, alumni and interested community members a first-hand look at job opportunities both locally and around the country.
The event, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Student Center Ballrooms, will include representatives from a variety of potential employers. The job fair typically features 50 to 75 employers. Internships and permanent employment possibilities will be available.
Registration is not necessary and admission is free.
Job seekers should bring multiple copies of their resumes and any other pertinent credentials, and should dress professionally and appropriately.
The job fair company attendance list includes Aldi, Ameren, Archer Daniels Midland Co., Bridgestone Retail Operations, Caterpillar, Delta Companies, Inc., Drury Hotels, Federal Bureau of Prisons, Harrah’s Casino, Illinois Department of Transportation, Land of Lincoln Americorps, Morton Buildings, Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes Corp., Walgreens, and Wells Fargo.
