Media Advisory -- Commencement
Reporters, photographers and camera crews are welcome to cover graduation ceremonies at Southern Illinois University Carbondale on Saturday, Dec. 19.
Many times out-of-town guests turn to local media outlets to confirm commencement schedules. We would appreciate your help in sharing this schedule with your audiences. Graduation ceremonies are open to the public, and tickets are not required.
Commencement ceremonies are at 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. at the SIU Arena.
The schedule is as follows:
Saturday, Dec. 19
9:30 a.m. -- College of Agricultural Sciences; College of Applied Sciences and Arts; College of Business; College of Education and Human Services; College of Engineering.
1:30 p.m. -- Graduate School; School of Law; College of Liberal Arts; College of Mass Communication and Media Arts; College of Science.
