Alumni appreciation baseball tailgate set for May 3
CARBONDALE, Ill. — The Southern Illinois University Alumni Association invites all its members to enjoy lunch, beverages and Saluki baseball during a Southern Illinois University Carbondale alumni appreciation tailgate.
The game is May 3 at SIUC's Abe Martin Field. The pre-game tailgate begins at 12:30 p.m., prior to the baseball game against Creighton University's Bluejays. The game itself begins at 2 p.m. Alumni members will gather under the SIU Alumni Association tailgate tent near the batting cages.

SIU Alumni Association membership is open to all alumni, students and friends of the University. Non-members interested in attending the baseball tailgate must join the association. Annual membership is $40. Life membership is $500, with life installment plans available. Employees of the University have the opportunity to purchase life memberships through payroll deduction.
