Golden Dragon Acrobats performance cancelled
CARBONDALE, Ill. — The Golden Dragon Acrobats performance, set for Friday, Oct. 19, at Southern Illinois University Carbondale's Shryock Auditorium, is cancelled.
Event promoters said the cancellation is due to delays in entry visas for the performers, who are from China. Shryock Auditorium hopes to reschedule the performance troupe for the 2008-2009 season.
Refunds are available for those with advance ticket purchases. Patrons who bought tickets with credit cards will receive a refund automatically. Shryock Auditorium personnel ask those who bought tickets with cash or checks to check the Web site at www.siuc.edu/shryock or call 618/453-2000 after Tuesday, Oct. 16, for more information about how to obtain refunds.
