Noche de Gala set for Friday, Sept. 28
CARBONDALE, Ill. – The sixth annual Noche de Gala brings salsa fun to the Student Center Ballrooms at Southern Illinois University Carbondale Friday, Sept. 28. The Chicago All-Stars will provide the salsa music for dancing pleasure from 8 to 11 p.m. The doors open at 7:30 p.m. and semi-formal attire is required.
Admission is free for the popular event. Sponsors are Sigma Lambda Beta Fraternity and Student Center Special Programs and Center Events.
If you're a beginning salsa dancer or if your skills are a bit rusty, you can take advantage of free salsa dance lessons Wednesday, Sept. 26, in Ballroom D of the Student Center. The men of Sigma Lambda Beta will give lessons from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
