Southern Illinois University Carbondale will launch its new "Inspiring Women" program at a 3:30 p.m. news conference Tuesday, July 13, in the Student Center's Fourth Floor Video Lounge.
Reporters and photographers are welcome to attend to learn more about the program, which extends from the campus to 18 Southern Illinois counties. The initiative will include scholarships to the University and recognition of women from throughout the region who serve as role models.
