A team long gone

I work out in Davies Gym, and I noticed the banners on the walls. The top 10 field hockey banner with the year 1978 caught my eye. When was the last time the university fielded a field hockey team?

According to Thomas R. Weber, director of media services for Intercollegiate Athletics, 1988 was the last season for field hockey at the University.
