Campus Lake closed due to algae

The university again this year is advising individuals to avoid skin contact with water in Campus Lake due to the presence of toxic algae. The university soon will implement a plan designed to improve the health of the lake. More


Writing Center to open for summer hours on Monday

The Writing Center in Morris Library will open for summer hours beginning Monday, June 27. More


SIUOnline Open Lab is Wednesday 

Instructors with questions about the effective use of Desire2Learn (D2L) tools, SIUOnline technical questions, or third-party tool and textbook integrations can receive help June 29 from the Center for Teaching Excellence. A session is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Morris Library, Room 174. Registration is not necessary.
