Retirees, service-award recipients honored

Morris Library to host ‘Dawgs Meet Dogs’

Trained service dogs will be on the lawn near the north entrance of Morris Library this Thursday and Friday, Dec. 10-11, from 10 a.m. to noon and 2 to 4 p.m., for students to pet and play with. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be in the Browsing Room on the first floor of the library. More


Tuesday Trek set for Dec. 15

The next “Tuesday Trek” is at 12:15 p.m., Dec. 15. The 1.5- to 2.5 mile walk will begin at the Student Services Building Pavilion and go around Campus Lake. The trek will last about 45 minutes. In the event of inclement weather, the trek will be in the Student Recreation Center, with everyone meeting by the indoor track.  More than 145 million adults include walking as part of a physically active lifestyle; with more than six in 10 people walking for transportation, fun, relaxation or exercise.
