Retirees, service award recipients will be honored
Chancellor Paul D. Sarvela will recognize 390 employees and honor 156 retirees for their service to the university at a ceremony and reception. The event is at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 9, in Student Center Ballroom D. The reception will be in the International Lounge.
The university is advising individuals to avoid skin contact with water in Campus Lake due to the presence of toxic algae. The boat house is closed and fishing and boating on the lake is temporarily banned until the naturally occurring algae dissipates. The university has posted warning signs around the lake. More
