Media Advisory – Institute News Conference

Mike Lawrence, director of the Paul Simon Public Policy Institute at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, will announce a key addition to the institute staff during a news conference on Thursday, Dec. 8. The newest member of the institute, who also will speak at the news conference, will lecture and spearhead major projects next year. The news conference will start either at 12:30 p.m. in the Student Center Fourth Floor Video Lounge, or immediately after the news conference that follows the SIU Board of Trustees meeting. Reporters and photographers are welcome to attend.
