Media center offers foreign language instruction

CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Southern Illinois University Carbondale offers the opportunity to learn foreign languages through its Language Media Center.

Learn Arabic, ASL, Chinese, Classics, English, French, German and/or Spanish. This self- paced, self-instructional opportunity is available in the media center, which provides access to multi-media computers, audio and videotapes, international cable television (foreign news broadcasts), and closed-captioned television. The program is available Aug. 22–Dec. 9, and has a fee of $45.
