Media Availability — Ray LaHood

U.S. Rep. Ray LaHood, R-Peoria, will be available to meet with reporters and photographers at 1:30 p.m., Monday, April 28, in the Paul Simon Public Policy Institute lobby at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. LaHood, who is serving his seventh term representing Illinois' 18th congressional district, will discuss his career in politics later in the day. The institute is presenting "Ray LaHood: A Champion of Civility in the Polarized Politics of Today," at 7 p.m., Monday, in Ballroom B of the Student Center.
