Media Advisory – Sustainability Celebration
Earth Month festivities at Southern Illinois University Carbondale will culminate in a Sustainability Celebration at noon on Thursday, April 27, in Morris Library’s John C. Guyon Auditorium and First Floor Rotunda.
Reporters, photographers and news crews are welcome to cover the event, which will feature the announcement of the 2017 Green Fund grant recipients, the presentation of the student Environmental Ambassadors awards, and the unveiling of a new campus sustainability initiative. The event will also include interactive sustainability activities and light refreshments.
