Saturday Young Artist Workshop begins Jan. 8
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Young artists in the area may join students from the School of Art and Design at Southern Illinois University Carbondale to share a passion for creating and learning about art in the Saturday Young Artist Workshop, set to begin Jan. 8.
The program brings together future art educators and area students to explore and create art on a theme. The theme this spring is “Making Art -- Having Fun.”
Workshops are in Allyn Building. Sessions are set for Jan. 8, and Feb. 4, 11 and 25. The workshop series concludes with an art show, set for 10-11 a.m. on March 4.
