Media Advisory -- Navistar, Rush Enterprises donations
Officials from Southern Illinois University Carbondale, Navistar International Corp., and Rush Enterprises, Inc. will discuss a partnership that supports the university’s automotive technology program on Thursday, Aug. 25. The event will begin at 10 a.m. in the large service lab in the Transportation Education Center, 545 N. Airport Road, Murphysboro. Speakers will include Interim Chancellor Brad Colwell; Michael Behrmann, chair of the Department of Automotive Technology; John McCuistion, global powertrain and chassis engineering director of Navistar; and Shelby Howard, regional general manager, Rush Truck Centers. The event will include department tours and a commercial truck ride-along experience. Reporters, photographers and camera crews are invited to attend.
