Media Advisory – Farm Tours
School children in kindergarten and first grade in the area are getting down on the farm at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. The College of Agricultural Sciences is hosting farm tours for area schools April 18-22. Reporters, photographers and cameras crews are welcome to come along and to interact with students as appropriate. So far, tours are scheduled for 10-11:30 a.m. on all days, 1-2:30 p.m. on April 19 and 12:30-2 on April 21 for students from schools in Carbondale, Carterville, Herrin and Marion.
