Deadline for CASA research symposium is Nov. 19

The registration deadline for the 2014 College of Applied Sciences and Arts Research Symposium is Nov. 19. The symposium, Nov. 22, in the Student Center’s Missouri and Kaskaskia rooms, will feature about 13 presentations in addition to posters. The symposium will be from 9 a.m. to about 5 p.m. 

Acting Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Susan Ford, Interim Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate School Dean James E. Garvey and Dean Andy Ju An Wang will provide welcome messages. A panel discussion with chairs and directors from the School of Allied Health, School of Architecture, Department of Automotive Technology, Department of Aviation Management and Flight, Department of Aviation Technologies and the Department of Information Systems and Applied Technologies will follow. The keynote speaker is Rodrigo Carramiñana, director of the Center for Undergraduate Research. 

The symposium is free and is open to all faculty and students. Lunch is provided to all registered participants. More information on the research symposium and registration is available here.
