Senior Day for basketball Salukis is March 1
In response to men’s basketball coach Barry Hinson's request for a sold-out SIU Arena for the March 1 game against Illinois State, Saluki Athletics is discounting upper bowl seats to $5 apiece. There is also a limited supply of lower-level seats available for $10 apiece.
Game time is 3:05 p.m. Seniors Desmar Jackson, Davante Drinkard, Bronson Verhines and Colby Long will be honored in a pre-game ceremony. The first 5,000 fans will receive a “Grow with SIU” flower seed pack courtesy of SIU. In addition, all fans buying a men's basketball ticket will receive free admission to the women's basketball game that follows at 6:05 p.m. against Wichita State. Tickets are available at the SIU Arena ticket office, McLeod Theater box office, calling 453-2000 or SIUSalukis.com.
