Tie-dyed T-shirt event rescheduled to May 1

by Tiana Russell

CARBONDALE, Ill. -- As final exams draw closer, Southern Illinois University Carbondale students will have the opportunity to take a few moments to relax and be creative.

The popular tie-dyed T-shirt event might have been pushed back a week due to inclement weather,  But students have the chance on Wednesday, May 1, to make a statement with their own creation.

The event is 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Free Forum Area near Anthony Hall.  Organizers will provide all the materials, including the shirts, but shirt sizes and supplies are limited so participation is on a first-come basis.  You may also bring your own shirts to personalize.

The Student Programming Council Visual Arts Committee is sponsoring the event.
