‘Dawg Book’ contest will highlight student photos
CARBONDALE, Ill. -- A campus-wide contest will give Southern Illinois University Carbondale students the opportunity to showcase their eye for aesthetics -- and all it takes is a mobile device.
The SIU Student Center is sponsoring an Instagram photo contest in which winners will have their pictures featured in the 2013-2014 Dawg Book. Students who submit an Instagram picture and tag it with #siudawgbook will be eligible to have their picture featured in the Dawg Book, the University’s popular student planner. The winning photo will grace the front cover of the annual planner, while other submitted photos will be placed throughout the inside pages.
Contestants must be current SIU Carbondale students whose Instagram profile is set for public access. The pictures must be SIU-related and family-friendly. The contest ends March 29.
